Art, Music and Social Contribution

The preservation and transmission of social and cultural values to future generations is of great importance. In line with this understanding, I have been conducting various studies in the field of culture and art for many years.

Contributions to Hemşin Culture
Within the Hemşin Education and Culture Association, which I chair, I actively conduct studies on Black Sea music, regional culture, and folk dances.

These studies aim to preserve the rich musical heritage of Hemşin culture, pass it on to younger generations, and revive values that are on the verge of being forgotten.

Cultural Works and Publications
I have two important book projects aimed at preserving cultural heritage through written sources:

Life Passes Through the Door
When the Clocks Strike, When Time Stops
Of these works, "Life Passes Through the Door" has become an important cultural resource, included in libraries affiliated with the Ministry of Culture. The book includes; The book includes epics, folk songs, and horon songs specific to the region, and also details traditions that are on the verge of being forgotten.

Music Studies and MESAM Membership
As part of my work in the field of music, I am a member of MESAM (Turkish Music Copyright Owners' Association).

To date, I have four album projects prepared on different themes:

Flowers of the Slums
Yessir to Those Eyes
İkbal
These Troubles of Fate
With these works, I aimed to reach a wider audience while preserving the unique structure of Black Sea music.

From Culture to the Future
Every effort made to protect and preserve cultural values is actually a legacy left for the future.

Through both association activities and my written works and musical studies, I continue to contribute to protecting this legacy and passing it on to future generations.
