Corporate Biography

I was born in 1964 in Pazar, Rize. Between 1984 and 1988, I completed my undergraduate education at Atatürk University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Chemistry, and graduated as a chemist.

Professional Career

I began my professional career in 1988 at İstanbul Plastifiyan Sanayi (İPSAŞ), working in DOP production. I later worked at ROTOPAK Ambalaj Sanayi A.Ş. / ROTOGRAVÜR Ltd., where I served as a Production Supervisor in the preparation of gravure printing cylinders, including nickel, copper, and chrome plating processes. During this period, we manufactured gravure printing cylinders for leading companies such as Ülker, Eti, Polinas, and Pilenpak.

In 1990, I joined Cihan Metal Ltd. as a Production Manager, where I managed polyethylene extrusion coating processes on aluminum foil. I was actively involved in technical production processes, including the monolithic slitting of coated foils for the underground cable industry.

In the following years, I focused more on marketing and sales, enhancing my expertise through professional training programs. I attended marketing courses at Marmara University under Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Kılkış.

In 1992, I worked as a Sales Representative for liquid inks (gravure and flexo) at Burgaz Matbaa Mürekkepleri Sanayi A.Ş. In 1997, I joined the German-Turkish joint venture Hostmann Steinberg – Hakan Plastik A.Ş., and in 1998, I continued my career as Sales Manager at Üreten Kimya Mürekkep Sanayi.

Education and Certifications

As part of my professional development, I have received:

• Training on ceramic rollers and anilox screen structures in flexographic printing from Zecher Anilox Roller (Germany)
• ISO 9001 Quality Assurance and Modern Management Program
• Language and marketing education at Bournemouth Business International School (UK) between 1999–2000

Additionally, I completed:

• Customer-Oriented Sales Training by Baltaş Group
• Technical training on P-series Glycol Ethers and formulation optimization by Mallinckrodt Chemicals

International Experience and Business Activities

In 2000, I worked as a Fine & Bulk Chemicals Sales Representative at Aktaş Kimya – Ekin Kimya, supplying raw materials to industries such as textile, pharmaceuticals, plastics, cosmetics, paints, inks, packaging, and chemicals.

In 2003, I started my own business activities based on my accumulated knowledge and experience. Within this scope, I have carried out:

• Glycerin imports from Malaysia
• Isopropyl alcohol supply from Azerbaijan (Sumgayit)
• Flexo doctor blade imports from China
• Export of paints and solvents to Turkmenistan

Current Activities

I currently continue my operations under Aykem Ambalaj Kimyasal Maddeler Pazarlama. My hands-on experience in the packaging industry, particularly during periods of rapid technological advancement in machinery and raw materials, has provided me with extensive sectoral knowledge.

Today, I continue to deliver value to the industry with a solution-oriented approach, leveraging my accumulated experience and expertise.
